This was a cd that i was looking foward to hearing. I've had it for a few months now and im still listening to it. It is a pretty good, well balanced album.
Review
01 - Intro: (Skit)
02 - We Don't Dare: A pretty good song. I like the beat and the lyrics are nice. Supposed to be for the kids.
03 - Graduation Day: (Skit)
04 - All Falls Down: A single off of the album. I liked it but it got old pretty fast.
05 - I'll Fly Away: (Skit)
06 - Spaceship: One of my fav songs on the album. It caught me as soon as i listened to it for the first time.
07 - Jesus Walks: The lastest single from the album. This song i like because its real and it talks about Jesus, which not many people do while rapping.
08 - Never Let Me Down:A song with Jay-Z..beat is ok, but its not exactly one of my favorite songs.
09 - Get Em High: A song i heard first al long time ago before the album even dropped. It caught me then. I like it.
10 - Workout Plan: (Skit)
11 - The New Workout Plan: A wierd song to me....very uptempo type of song, might catch on to some people.
12 - Slow Jamz: Twista's song, just ported over to Kanye's album also. This song got old fast.
13 -Breathe in Breathe Out: Another one of my favorite songs on the album. I like the beat, and Ludacris is on it, although he's just doing the hook
14 -School Spirit Skit 1: (Skit)
15 -School Spirit: Nice song...beat is ok, school type i guess. I like it.
16 - School Spirit Skit 2: (Skit)
17 - Lil Jimmy Skit: (Skit)
18 - Two Words: Another song i like. Its nice to listen to, and the lrics of Mos Def are nice. Freeway is also featured on this song.
19 - Through the Wire: What made me like Kanye. This is a song that i still like, and probably will still like in the future.
20 - Family Business: Ok song, but its not a song that i listen to all the time.
21 - Last Call: This is like 12 mins long, buts its interesting to listen to because he's talking about his 'journey'
This album was not bad. The biggest down fault was all the skits. Other than that, the cd was ok.
