avidSOUND.com is a music site but I'm told I'll be able to write about whatever I want. Which is good because while I absolutely love music I'm not sure I have anything interesting to say about it. My opinions on music can be narrowed down to this: Punk and Indie rock are awesome, mainstream rock, pop and hip-hop generally sucks, and terrestrial radio stations don't have a clue how to compete with your iPod; so there plan is to do the same things they've been doing for the past 40 years until their industry is dead. Way to think outside the box guys.

Now then, here is what I hope to accomplish by writing for this site:
     
1. I used to write for this site all the time back when it was called titaniumWG, a name which didn't appear to make any sense, but that's alright because the site didn't really make any sense either, if it did, it went completely over my head. What the site was about doesn't matter though, what matters is that we forget about the things I wrote on that site, my work was a steaming pile of shit. I hope to do better this time around.
     
2. I hope to at least write: My writing on the old site may have been shit but at least I was writing. Since I stopped writing for the old site I've been sporadically writing on my MySpace blog, Xanga blog, and my blogger blog. None of those are interesting at all. And I only blogged when I felt like it, which wasn't often. For some reason I haven't been motivated, usually I just sit around and twittle my thumbs, or my favorite hobby: Sitting around and waiting for somebody to post something on my Facebook profile! Yippee! I'm unemployed.
     
3. I'm hoping to clear my head out a little. I have so many thoughts and opinions in my brain that it's starting to eat itself. So by writing here maybe I'll get some of my frustrations out. That said, there's a very good possibility that I wont touch this again for 6 months. I have commitment issues. (Thanks for having me back Chris.)
     
4. I hope I don't come off as a pretentious asshole, though I'm sure I've already failed at that by numbering things off as if this was some sort first rate blog that people will be clamoring to read. It's not, I'm not even getting paid, I'm just fucking around.

So those are my hopes, dream big! I don't plan on there being any sort of theme to these posts, I'll probably just be angry/sad/scared/lonely a lot of the time. Maybe happiness will creep through now and then.
I'd say were off to a good start, (eh, maybe) now if you will excuse me, I have to go take too much Ritalin; oh I forgot, I don't have any.
