avidSOUND.com: BrainEatsSelf #7 - Your Optimism Kills Me

I am without a doubt the worst person I know. I have a terrible attitude about life and the events happening around me, I don't go to school, I have no job and a very small social life; and let's not begin to speak about women. Just saying hi to a girl I may like is an event equal to the scaling of Mt. Everest. Fuck am I winded, there's nowhere else to go, and it's freezing up here! I'm not sure this blog entry even has a subject or a point but it's better than the nothing I've posted the past 3 months. I can't even keep a blog going! The worst of it all is I can't even imagine a scenario where any of the things I've listed off will ever work out for me.
Let me make it clear to any reader who has made it this far, (there's no kinky sex acts you'd rather be googling?) I don't expect sympathy, not even from the people who know me. I understand that everyone has their own lives and to stop and care about anything written on a blog would be silly. But how do you all do it? How do you get up in the morning and function? Go to work, go to school, talk to people without awkward silences that you have no idea how to fill? How do you look at the events of the world and not feel the urge to yell “FUCK IT ALL” at the top of your lungs? I'm going to be 20 years old in December, 20 years old and I've done nothing in my life. I'm a waste.
The economy is almost dead, the wars drag on, politicians are still corrupt. But you all knew that, in fact I find it all very fascinating consequences be damned. I find it fascinating how people are optimistic about Obama's presidency, sure I voted for him but he's already heading down the same old dead end street. He's appointing everyone from years past to his administration, specifically the Clinton years. Didn't W. assemble an “All-Star” lineup from years past in his administration? What happened to them? We all hate them enough to wish horrible deaths on every single one. The Clinton presidency was successful because nothing happened, I mean, the whole nation came to a stop for the last 2 years of his presidency to argue about a blow job.

I hate being a realist, it's depressing, but I am. And your optimism kills me. (I'm jealous)
