no offense, but I think that it was about the stupidest event ever.


"ha haw! lets raise awareness of the poverty in Africa, but not money!  We have 10,000 people attending each concert, so even if it was just $1 a head we'd get $10,000 to donate to Africa, but no, we just want to raise awareness, not money."

but the point is that they could've done so much more than that.  I think that it was reported that millions of people would be at these concerts.  If they had put just a $1 - $5 cover charge, think of how many African people  they could've actually helped, instead of just hoped to help.

The thought was nice but like pyro said if they'd charged money they woulda made a much bigger difference than they did. Oh yeah guess what they had to eat back stage, Lobster! Rich people at a concert eating lobster telling other people to help the poor people of africa. It just makes me laugh Cheesy
