nanx, you must understand that there are two different definitions associated with "emo" - the real meaning of it, and the current pop-culture meaning of it.  eggs was kind enough to enlighten us... was it over the summer?

those crappy bands that wine about their life with catchy tunes are the pop-culture version of emo that aren't really emo at all.
