What programs do you use to produce music?

I have FL Studio 5 that I play around with and Reason 4 taht Im trying to learn. Im also in the process of buying a midi keyboard and maybe a midi pad.

I used Audacity for a while, but with the 8.0 update I use Garageband.  I really like the virtual keyboard and editing capabilities for the prefab instruments.  You can write out the part for a guitar or piano MIDI style or with actual musical notation, and switch back and forth seamlessly.  Plus I use GB to tune my Guitar.

Nope.  I suck big time.  Quarter notes at 160 bpm is as far as I've gotten trying to learn the dern thing with online tutorials and whatnot.  The chords are killing me too.  I often wonder if just as much pressure is needed around the frets to play an electric guitar or not.
