This CD is still relatively new, so I think it deserves a thread.
For those who love Linkin Park, you will most likely love this. FOr those who hated Linkin park, you may also like this. GONE is the rapcore (Rap and singing) sound. IN fact, on the whole CD there is one song that contains a little rap (Bleed it Out) and another thats mainly rap (Hands held High, although it's verry slow rap). Their new sound is different than anythings they've done before, the singing is more prevalent, and the screaming is less frequent and more melodic.
Critics of old linkin Park, who have accused them of "emo sounding" lyrics can no longer complain. Each song has layers of meaning, and many of them addressing political issues of the present. Over all it is a great CD and should at least be given a listen
